Heritage

Our design proudly celebrates the sartorial heritage that sets us apart, rooted in a deep family tradition.

Tommaso Dolce

Our strong origins are grounded in a region along the Apulian coast, historically known for its vibrant trade in fine fabrics and yarns between East and West.

The port of Molfetta, like many cities overlooking the Adriatic, the soul of the Mediterranean, boasts a long-standing architectural tradition marked by simplicity and elegance.
This authentic and history-rich setting has given rise to prominent figures such as Maestro Riccardo Muti and is the birthplace of the renowned artist Arnaldo Pomodoro, both symbols of Italian culture and artistry around the world.

In the 1930s, Molfetta, a refined crossroads of the textile trade, was the beating heart of a perfect union between elegance, high-quality materials, and artisanal tradition.

Along Corso Umberto and Piazza Margherita di Savoia, boutiques and historic workshops flourished, becoming a point of reference for those in search of fine fabrics to craft timeless trousseaus and garments, alive with vibrant creativity.

Wool, linen, and cotton are the most sought-after fabrics in tailoring, but for the most discerning clientele, there is a world of delicate silks and luxurious velvets reserved, sourced from the finest textile centers in Bari, Naples, and Milan, as well as overseas, thanks to the maritime trade that enlivens the port of Molfetta.

The tailoring tradition, deeply rooted in the city, is brought to life by masters of the Italian sartorial art, skilled artisans capable of transforming every cloth, drape, and fabric into a masterpiece, a one-of-a-kind creation. Each garment dresses both everyday life and the most special occasions, telling a story of timeless elegance and refinement.

Fueling the local textile trade in the 1930s was also the production of native Apulian linen, which enabled the creation of garments distinct from their British counterparts and embodied a style that still defines our brand today: artisanal craftsmanship.

In this atmosphere of vitality and prosperity, Tommaso Dolce returned from Argentina with valuable know-how in the fabric trade. He successfully launched his business by opening a shop in the historic Piazza Cappuccini in Molfetta, a key logistical hub for the northern Bari hinterland. It was here that the family’s passion for tailoring was born, beginning with his creative daughter, Vittoria Dolce, who embraced it with dedication.

Vittoria Dolce

She spent ten years in Rome during the 1950s and 1960s, married to Giuseppe Regina, further nurturing her love for beauty, craftsmanship, and Italian fashion, a spirit that defined the capital in those years.

Upon returning to Molfetta, Vittoria inherited her father’s business and ushered in a new era.
The first elegant “REGINA” boutique was born in the historic location of Piazza Cappuccini. A few years later, it moved to a refined showroom on the upper floor of a historic building overlooking the same square, becoming the new “Boutique Regina.”Renewed in concept yet deeply rooted in tradition, it remained a leader in the sector until 2010.

It was right here that her grandson, Marcello, would play among fine fabrics, textiles, and garments, cared for by seamstresses and saleswomen.

For him, the boutique became a magical and safe place, a memory he would carry in his heart forever. For him, the boutique became a magical and safe place, a memory he would carry in his heart forever.

In January 2025, together with his friend and business partner Giuseppe, he revived the family business, this time under the name Regialdi.
