Buttonhole
a true signature of bespoke craftsmanship. Each buttonhole requires time and careful attention to detail. The position and angle of the buttonholes are designed considering the garment’s fit, button tension, and the shirt’s overall line.
Button attachment
in our handcrafted tailoring, we use the "shank stitch" technique, which involves creating a small thread stem by manually wrapping the thread between the button and the fabric. This allows the fabric some mobility, easing buttoning and reducing tension on the surrounding fabric, ensuring durability and functionality.
Stiffener
it is a reinforcement located at the back of the collar, designed to maintain its shape and ensure stability. The presence of this element is a sign of high-quality construction and highlights the tailoring care dedicated to the collar’s structural functionality.
The Button
buttons are selected with great care, both for their function and for the aesthetic and tactile value they add to the garment. We use mother-of-pearl buttons, known for their natural luster, durability, and elegance.
The gusset
a small triangular reinforcement sewn between the front and back panels of the shirt. It ensures greater durability at stress points and stands out as a distinctive detail, symbolizing attention to craftsmanship and care for the finer points.
